Welcome to our Thor LLC web site.  Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our light system and us.

My wife and I both have education degrees from Central Michigan University .  I work as a consultant to the automotive industry.  Becky’s degree is in language arts but besides teaching she has worked in the visual arts field for many years. We’ll be married 30 years this August and we have a son and a daughter.

 We have owned two Piper ‘fixer upper’ planes before we decided to build our 9A.     The pole barn behind our home became the ‘plane factory’ in September 2003.  Our first flight was 13 months later. 

N821BF (yes, that’s our anniversary and our initials) has a Lycoming O-320 D3G with an 80 pitch Sensenich prop, a Holy Cowl, dual LightSpeed ignition, Grand Rapids EIS & EFIS, Garmin SL-40, electric trim, and, of course, the Thor LLC nav and strobe light system.  Becky designed all of the interior side panels and upholstered the seat cushions.

 We like to go to fly-ins so if you ever see us, stop by and say ‘hello’!
